The VEBA Trust Trustees
The responsibility of the HSTA VEBA Trust Trustees is to act at all times in the best interest of the plan beneficiaries.
Trustees are volunteers and do not receive payment for their services. All monies paid into the Trust are for Trust purposes
and cannot be recoverable by or paid to the HSTA, its members, or any other person.
Trustees represent the various segments of the HSTA population.
Who sits on the Board of Trustees?
The Board of Trustees is comprised of teachers who are members of the trust. Trustees are appointed by the HSTA President
and confirmed by the HSTA Board of Directors. One member of the Trust is elected by the members of the HSTA Membership Services
Committee.
